Is Egg City still in Moorpark?
Supercarts eh....unfortunately the Central Valley competes only with the area around the Salton Sea as the main area to avoid in Cali.

lots of cool stuff in the valley. plenty of good food, bars, and cars. plenty of heat, too, right now. supercarts 'd be fun.
rods to rails car show saturday the 26th in j-town. yeah, it's the foothills and not the valley proper

No, they moved on about 15 years ago....that real-estate is now home to several special effects production houses.
This is a good thing for Modesto, if this race is successful and becomes a regular event, it might become like the Rock Island grand prix. That race draws racers from around the globe and it is now a week long race festival that brings like 2,000 entries, 40,000 spectators.
The S1 shifters will hit 100mph in less than a block.
It would help put $$$$$$$ into Modesto, and IMHO that is a great thing for the local economy.
I would be there, but going to the surgery center instead.
That will be fun for sure.
