Any idea how easy it is to hitch a ride up there on a Friday morning (tomorrow), between 10am-11am or so?
Alternatively, anyone in the area/living locally who can give me a ride? I can pay. I talked to East Side Sierra Shuttle but he's travelling/not around tomorrow (http://www.eastsidesierrashuttle.com/); - which was my main hope.

Bump. Can someone at least comfort me to tell me I can hitch a ride easily? :-)
Any leads on someone who can drive me would be great, like I said, happy to pay...

It shouldn't be difficult around that time. Most of the tourists have just finished breakfast and are on their way up there. It's the only obvious destination, so almost everyone is headed that way.
If I was up there I'd give you a ride, no problema.

Can't imagine you'll have any trouble at all unless you look like an axe murderer. It's been awhile, but I desperately needed to hitch that ride once and didn't have to wait more than a few minutes before someone pulled over for me.
