Happy Birthday (one day late) to the old reprobate (that's a term of endearment, folks; "takes one to know one" - as we told each other on the playground back in the day).

You are an inspiration to the faceless horde of has-beens-who-never-were: like me!

P.S. Like go-b said: Jesus loves you man! And so do we.

Hugs from us Jim! Hopefully we get to see you soon so you can meet the new kiddo in the group. Aris is starting to climb so our little world is developing well.

Jim, I hope your had a great birthday. I'm in Western Montana and was driving up the 93 the other day looking at the many untouched crags in the Mission Mountains. I was day dreaming of an early retirement but ran aground on who my climbing partner would be?!? But a few heartbeats later I realized the Jim Donini could be my climbing partner if I retired early. ;-)

HBD, old man. You got me beat in more ways than one. Good to see you here on ST and roundabout the familiar climbing campfires over the years. You still set the standard for us and maintain the most inclusive (democratic) attitude toward climbing folks of all stripes.

Happy birthday Jim.

When I was but a wee lad my relatives bombarded me with the question "what do yo want to be when you grow up?". Back then I didn't have the words to describe my desire. Now that they are mostly all gone I could tell them if I have to grow up I want to be Jim Donini.
Cheers.
