Just did a job and the boss e-mailed me about my expenses:

"You’ll for sure have plane fare, cab or whatever and meals and prostitutes. I saw Wolf of Wallstreet. We’ll cover all that."

Man, if only had I known he was gonna man up like that . . .

^^^good one. My partner was once recommended a hotel because they have "good class of hookers there". It was a seriously given recommendation. He didn't stay there, not because of the hookers.

My neighbor from down the street when I was growing up who used to bribe Congressman Cunningham provided hookers a lot. Apparently it is best(worst?) practices in dealing in government "procurement" circles. Be careful though, Mr. Wilkes is now in prison. Cunningham just got out.

and Happy Birthday.

Just remember: if the IRS audits you, they're "miscellaneous" not prostitutes…

Must have been a Federal Government job

no way, the scrutiny of every trip is almost like having to testify to the House on your reimbursement claims...

...just so you, the tax payers, aren't the victim of fraud...

Federal government is tight with expenses.

Yeah to the tune of 17 trillion indebtedness.

Next we'll be hearing that Members of Congress are notorious tight-wads

Well, Ward, they let a billion here or a trillion there just go, but at some point it's just money. All they need to get more is to tell you (the taxpayer) to send it in. Taxpayer money is both unlimited and easily tapped into.

Right?

Yes, fur reel. Surely you must be shocked on how many of our brothers take our government driven and given wealth for granted? You think you worked there on your own and made money? NO. You didn't, the gov't was responsible for your wealth. You are but one small cog.

The Urban Dictionary defines "abuse' as the best way to manage an expense account.

It's getting harder and harder to take the baby boomer leftist seriously , isn't it?
The generational mentality who's cherished goal is to piss what's left of this country down the drain.
This dude is probably serious , that's the pitiful thing about it , he's not joking.

zBrown,
You grew up in ChulaJuana?
I went to high school with Brent Wilkes and his sidekick friend, and now partner-in-crime, Dusty Foggo. It's unbelievable how long Wilkes, through legal maneuvering, was able to delay his eventual incarceration.
Damn, did you attend the same school?

Juan - yep.

Brent was several years younger than I am. He lived at Second and Halsey and I believe his sister lives in the house now. My first girl friend lived across the street on Second and I lived at Halsey and Minot. I never knew Brent nor Foggy, but one of the CV cops has told me some interesting stories about the pair.

Hilltop High - you, Brent, Foggy, me and Tom Waits (to name a few).

I even ventured down to the Long Bar, Hussongs, and K38 1/2 on occasion.

zBrown,
That's close to where I grew up. When did you start climbing? I started climbing around '71. Thought I'd have known the very few climbers in the area.
Yeah, Tom Waits' sister was a friend in my high school class of '73.
