hey there say, all... been being very sentimental with my mom, today,
and, earlier this week, HAD:

been sharing with, and about, a lot with some folks, i know, that have been such sweet ones, through life, as do others:
sharing how they, and OTHERS we have seen,
follow a trail, whether sort, hard, or rugged, as to the physical and emotional realms, mixed, or separate, in life...

the kinds of folks that do this from a tender love, and outreaching love, that has that natural feel to it... the kind that give life to others...

these folks, many times, are what i call 'hidden heroes' THOUGH, in this sense, just now: the ones that are like the tiny
little flowers, fragile though they seem, hidden in the mountains, or hidden in the deserts along rocks...

each day, they make life more kinder, in the midst of trial (on the trails)
and each day they bring a smile to those around them, or those that
just HAPPEN to come upon, them, as they DO this...

i wrote my jake books, about HIDDEN heroes... those that face the front-lines on the 'battle of life's go-wrongs' and by good
solid insight-fights, and tenacity, HOLD that line!

hidden heroes, can be like our beloved jello, taking each day, and conquering, ( and we have a special jello, jeff lowe appreciation for that, too)...

but--hidden heroes CAN also be those that are like THE FLOWERS,
I MENTIONED ABOVE...

the ones that are there, BESIDE, BEHIND, AND ALL AROUND
their beloved 'hidden heroes' JUST:

being a loved one, help mate, partner, or trusted friend...

so, after thinking on the ones that i have known in life, and shared with recently(and also a few months back, but recent, in my thought, just now, in terms of this year) ...

here is a special appreciation for connie self...
and her treasure that she is, not only to jeff, but to those around her, and in this world, as we travel through it...

god bless, and my special hugs of refreshment come your way, when you
need them... as--each trail is so much sweeter with the sparkles of little
refreshing streams, :) encouraging us onward, in what we love to do...

Simply put, Connie is an amazing woman. Tireless, loving, intelligent...hell, I could spit out superlatives for a longer time than most people's attention span, so I'll leave it at....Connie, you rock!

Indeed! Much thanks to Connie for being so wonderful and caring.

I've really enjoyed the small amount of time I've gotten to talk with her.

Thank you NeeBee for the bump

Lots of kudos for Connie!!!!! Yes, for sure! A gentle, incredibly "self-less" person. Wish I had a tenth of her perseverance and heart.

I have not met Connie or Jello but I have been so impressed by the communication they have done about the journey they are on together. And equally impressed by their spirit.

Best wishes to both Connie and Jeff.

I want to Thank you, Thank you.... like the song says. Such kind words bolster me in those moments when things are not so easy. Love is a powerful motivator. I call it "big love" - way beyond being "in love". I have always had big love for Jeff. I am lucky that Jello is so very loveable so that I can just do what needs to be done without question. Not always quickly enough and not always as well as I would like... but I stay the course.

Thanks for the "Big Love".
