This new thread needs a response. It should never have made it onto the site. At the least new threads started by avatars with fewer than some number of posts need to be reviewed.

Maybe this thread should discuss whether the First Amendment has served its
purpose and is now only job security for lawyers with nothing better to do?
I mean you can't get more PC than modern Germany yet even they draw the line
at certain expressions of hate.

Since you're keeping tabs, I created my account a couple years ago but only started posting last fall. You can verify that by looking at my posts.
I think the PTC stuff was before I even started posting.

Much ado about nothing.
The sun rose on the California coast, CMac or whomever sat down with his morning coffee, looked at the new posts, deleted the scummy stuff, and got on with his day.
What more moderation than that do you think we need? Did any of you really believe those posts would stay up longer than about 08:30 this morning?
Go climbing or something.

Enjoying freedom requires that we all apply a little respect and maturity, and perhaps even decent judgement to things.
