Nothing makes the loss easier. I am just so sorry. I find a tiny bit of solace in recognizing that the only way to avoid the pain of loss is to have never shared your life with your pup...and that is unthinkable.

On the other hand, you know it had to be a good life being Locker's dog.

So sorry Locker...I know the pain of losing a beloved pet is excruciating. The worst dawg I've ever had the privilege of taking care of died early of liver problems. It messed me up hard for about a week.
Good Luck sir and may my thoughts be with you.

Our dog friends are so short-lived. Greta is just one and I already worry about how it ends 5-6 years from now... sorry man :-(

Was watching a dog for a friend as she was on a climbing trip in the far east for three months. Sydney fell ill and we had to put her down on easter sunday.
Last week we went back to visit her with Nacho and our new pup, Stoke. Nacho and Sydney were very close and he seemed completely aware of where we were.
Here he's sniffing her tags and collar that used to constantly be in his mouth.

That is a painful road, my friend....many of us know it all too well. I still grieve for Cush every damn day...8 months later.

Peace to you, Locker.....
