I have a set of Alpinist, #0 through 44, missing issue 41. Most inserts removed, but otherwise in excellent condition. Needs to go to a better home, make me an offer if interested. I'm located in Mountain View, CA and prefer not to ship.

I'm looking for 0-9 but I'm not sure yet what I would offer...
eBay has issues 0-9 somewhere in the neighborhood of $40 to $50 per issue, which is too steep for me right now... but you might have luck selling them off over time on eBay.
Recall that the Alpinist's warehouse burned to the ground in December 2006 and destroyed their entire inventory... Alpinist 18 was the Winter 2006-2007 issue. "The Change" was at issue 27.

totally understand the desire to sell as a group and not individually, and not wanting to dick with shipping.
but I'd like to buy the Diamond mountain profile issue, if your collection gets carved up piecemeal
