tourons are assumed to be idiots and BASE jumpers are assumed to know better?
Werner's team will be there to pick up the pieces even of BASE jumpers. It's the bigger mess they don't appreciate.

What's harder, picking up some body parts off the ground like 5 times a year or flying a heli next to a cliff trying to pick someone out of the water who hopped over a guard rail? Not saying this guy did but lots of people do.

Looking at that boulder, I wonder how he got onto it. Looks impossible.

In the mid 60s, flew into that area in a Bell to pick up left overs from some swimmers at the top who ventured too far, too late and too sad. Chocked up the skids for a spell to facilitate collecting and on liftoff we got sucked into the upper falls and literally spit out. The pilot, Roy, who had over 10,000 hours of mountain time flying was pale as a ghost when we landed. Ah, the innocence of youth!

We did a body recovery from there back in 1998. Falls or not it's an extremely dangerous stretch and this dude is lucky as hell to have not gotten pinned under a rock.

I'm wondering if he held on to his sun glasses. It was probably bright on that boulder down there.
Along with the short-haul out of there, it's an E-ticket for sure.
&& Whoa Guido!! That's one of your cat lives!!!
