Anyone want to climb Fri or Sat somewhere along Hwy 50? Sugarloaf, Phantom, Lover's Leap? Maybe even Auburn Friday? I'm pretty new here, so I've only been to these places one time each (never been to Auburn). I live in the Sac area. Have car and gear, will lead 5.9 maybe easy 10 if the climb and gear suit me. Will follow hard 10, easy 11...may have to pull on gear or hang some.
If nobody takes me up on this I'll likely go rope solo somewhere or worse yet.....go bouldering!

Hey North,
Unfortunately I saw this after I agreed to some plans with the wife Saturday night. I am definitely free to go any day after this weekend, so feel free to PM me any time.
I was actually up there toady. I went to boulder at the Secrets, but the road was still snowed over, so I went and bouldered at the Leap campground boulders. It was a fairly good time, except I got chased out early by some rain.
Where's the best bouldering in the Tahoe region that's accessible right now?

Bill's been super busy putting in new bolts and routes at Pilot. Actually some good stuff if you can tolerate the scene.
