Hey, edge, you should hit me up when you're front tracking through Tahoe to sac if you want to climb.
Thanks Jebus, that would be great. I hope to know the dates soon.

So it's opened to the pass only, when will it open from Tioga to the Valley is the question, I think.

It's definitely not the only question. Open to the Pass is the bidness for tons of backcountry ski access!!

The park web page says plowing began on April 16 and plows have reached Porcupine Flat. At that rate, it shouldn't take too long.

Let's see Tioga got 30% of normal snow fall which equals approx 1/3 of the time and energy to open so the plows could have it clear around the first week of May easy. Though I was just skiing out of Virginia Lakes yesterday and from the top of Black Mountain - Conness and her neighbors looked mighty white...

Tioga Road
Plows reached Tioga Pass on Tuesday, April 22, while a few inches of new snow was falling. However, more plowing is needed to widen the plowed portion of road, plow side roads and parking lots, and peel ice from sections of the road near Tuolumne Meadows. Additional ditching and tree work may also be required. The weather forecast calls for snow Thursday night through Sunday night.
There is currently no estimated opening date for the Tioga Road (for either cars or bicycles). The road is closed to vehicles, bicycles, and pedestrians when snow removal operations are underway.

Well, Gomez, I meant blindfolded, of course. :))
If all goes as planned TPR will be open in less than a month. Of course we give the job of rope gun to Mother Nature on that call.
As mentioned, this is Tioga Pass Resort's 100th BIRTHDAY, come celebrate with us. Lynnie arrives on 5/24 (Lord willing and the creek and snow level don't rise.) and so looking forward to seeing and playing with wonderful ST friends as well as family, friends and climbers at large.
Big Cheers!!!
