So Macronut and I bought this sweet thing for our first run up El Cap last year but never used it after I blew up my knee and he and Hudon spooned on Hudon's single ledge.

It has literally NEVER been on a wall.

I really want to sell it since I have no immediate walls on the horizon as my knee recovers from surgery in the coming months and I would like it to be put to good use.

I'm asking 700.00 total, with the full rainfly.

New on BC.com or REI or elsewhere the total rig is 1150.00. Thats 700 for the ledge and 450 for the fly plus tax and S+H you're looking at closer to $1300.00. It is literally the best double on the planet and your purchase would help fund my rehab and my upcoming trips to The Mithral Dihedral and 3rd Pillar of Dana this summer.

Email/pm me or hit me on this thread. Thanks!

That ledge would be so cool hanging over the downhill side of my back deck. I could...

Oh, wait. If I buy it from you I have to climb some serious big wall route. Or, if not something really serious, then at least something on El Cap. And that's not going to happen unless I wake up a few decades younger.

Good luck -- someone is going to get a bargain.

I hope this does not mean your giving up on doing walls? I feel I am in a similar spot you are in and if you ever need a ledge after this sells your welcome to use my Runout Customs Bafin Ledge, unless I'm using it :)

If you are ever looking for a willing wall partner give me a shout, I am very low key and love the mountains and from your posts it would seem have very similar views on Faith.

Always stoked by your TR's and posts, keep em coming.

For that price, I might just "need" a double in addition to the single Fish I have.

I'm sure you'll get a buyer, but if you don't, hit me up.

Hold on a sec Scott....

So you can't do a wall because of your knee....but you're going to do Mithral and 3rd Pillar??

El Cap will be gnawing at you 24/7 for the rest of your life bro. Just sayin....

Calm down Paul, calm down. No "immediate" wall plans on the horizon. I can hike, and free climbing seems almost fully back up to speed, but humping massive haul bag loads, jugging and hauling would be murder. And actually, stepping up and through in aiders is a move that is surprisingly kinda hard still.

I'll get back on the wall next year. It ain't goin no where. Now how about you buy my ledge and put it to use yourself?

Haha...I'm totally calm! Just wanted clarification is all. I know how much getting up El Cap meant to you and saw how stoked you were. I hope you get up her sooner than later is all! I was really bummed when your knee blew out!

I'd buy it if I needed a ledge, but I have an original A5 double with storm fly. ;)

Scott----given the entertainment value of a typical Micronut trip report (which might be anything from a morning outing to a weekend), I am waiting with patient anticipation for your first official "MICRONUT CONQUERS EL CAP" report.

That aside. . . I hope you find a buyer. Very nice ledge.

I'll also sell my BD double and deluxe fly but for $600 since they've been used around 10 days. There are two small holes in the wall-side of the fly and the expected scratches here and there on the bars. PM me if you're interested. I can drop them off if you live in Los Angeles or you can pick them up if you'll be in Pasadena. Cash, check, Paypal, whatever. I can also deliver to Yosemite since I'll be there more or less every weekend this spring, woohoo! Reason I'm selling? I haven't been able to set it up quickly enough for my tastes, maybe I just suck.

There's nothing on Ebay now or ever remotely close to 400 for the ledge + fly.
