Totally off-route on our approach to Mount Mendel (the first time), we ended up Frenching it up Lamarck Couloir on Mt. Lamarck. Only on topping-out, did we realize that we sucked at reading topos. …turns out we did the second ascent, missing the first by no more that a few days. Twenty-something pitches. Richard Harrison, Robs Muir, Terry Goodykoontz (?), circa 1973-ish.

Winter 98/99, back when I still had plenty of hair.
Sometime mid/late 90s, back when you could go to the Supercrack Buttress and not see another soul. Didn't own many cams, and wasn't very good at crack climbing, which made for some exciting runnouts:
