Is there really a gear company called Sh#t out of luck?
Really?
That's cool.
Think I'll start one called FUBAR..yep I could design stuff like that. Hmm.. I think it will be a used gear company.
I should delete this post.. It's too brilliant...

Nathan Sport Wash (aka Penguin Sport Wash).
I've tried various Nikwax, Woolite, etc, most leave a residue, most are overpriced. I do like the Tek Wash, but it's just too expensive to use frequently. The Sport Wash stuff works at least as well, IMO, and it's cheap, in stock at REI.
FYI - Woolite has sulpheric acid in it. I keep it away from ropes - and pretty much everything else I own. I used to use it on my ropes. It made them squeak through my biners and belay devices - never knew why until recently. It also left a residue that attracted dirt.
