The fact that you equate FS employees moving around so much with "the" consent decree (presumably No.C-73-1110-SC) is absurdly sexist and fuking idiotic.

Rock removal also has nothing to do with "the" consent decree. And the plan was not spawned by the FS, it was spawned by the GUY who wanted a permit to collect rocks for his landscaping (?) business... probably a good ol redneck who is now pissed off at Obama for foiling his plans.

This is simply not true. One example. He has used many different names for our President, none of which are his rightful name. Whether you voted for him or not, he is still our President and should be recognized properly. I didn't vote for, nor did I like President Bush, but I refered to him as President Bush. Maybe if Ron started addressing the President as President Obama, others will stop calling him Rong.

When the man who represents "The President of the United States" becomes criminal then he's no longer "the president" and not worthy of respect.
"The President of the United States" is a consciousness.
The man who takes that office must uphold that consciousness and not become part of the criminal cable.
He's "Commander in Chief" yet he does not stand up to the criminals in our own govt and country.
He lets those criminals run the office of President and the govt.

I have exceedingly strong disagreements with the actions of President Obama, but he's still the President of the United States and, since I'm an American citizen, my president. While I understand name-calling of public officials from both the left and right (how many references to plants did posters make regarding President George W. Bush?), it generally makes for poor advocacy.
In a way, what Ron proposes in his initial post is really just one of the principals of advocacy, namely, using rhetoric that will cause readers to choose to read your post, rather than reflexively to disregard it. That one rhetorical change will do wonders to turn a thread from a hate-fest into a discussion of value.

A thread like this would have a LOT more credibility if it came from someone who has some level of integrity themself, a demonstrated ability to consider differing opinions & counter with articulate, respectful comments, and who didn't have a narcissistic character that demands constant Lois-like attention.

Anyone with much time on this site can look at this thread title and the OP's name and easily conclude what a sh#t show this is going to be. Nonetheless, a quick survey of the first 30 threads on the front page shows the majority are on-topic climbing threads. So don't click on this thread if you don't care for the pedantic and personality-driven vitriol.
Stewart Johnson, I'm talking to you. Go climb something no matter how trivial and post a TR. (By the way: THANK YOU Tvash!) It doesn't have to be the Fitzroy traverse though if it's not coz may not read it because, you know, we are not the elites but a lot of folks here will love a fun-filled TR no matter how prosaic the route. Git some!
