BTW... some of this gear I picked up at the Metanoia fundraiser. I'm reselling it and I've made a donation of $150 to Jellos non-profit. So y'all are helping Jeff out...

Well its good to hear that somebody didn't get all geared up for big walling only to pee his pants with a little exposure and quit.

(I've seen it more than once)

Naw.... though I've sold off some of my aid gear but not all of it. I still have plans.

The ledges are from a photo shoot that eventually landed on the cover of Smithsonian. So I'm selling them for Louie. I've gone back through the archives on smithsonianmag.com which dates back to 1995 and can't find which issue. I'll have to ask Louie. Anyone remember that cover?

Hi Nature-

Can you send me a bigger image of the Smithsonian cover. I have a little collection of magazine covers with A5 ledges. Haven't seen that one. Thanks!

John,

I'll ask Louie to see what can be done.

What can you tell us about those ledges. They are the three pole (long side) model. Made for up to 6'6" people, right?

John... I found a copy of the magazine on eBay. Once I get it I'll scan the cover as well as the story which has more photos.

I'm heading to Florida tomorrow. so won't be shipping anything new until the following week.

"Scarpa Veloce Size 45.5"

They look like La Sportiva Mythos to me. Too bad they are not 43.5 or 44....
