Lost several inspiring vids in all my house moves during my college years. Many years later I still miss them. Searched around the web for this one but my ADD is getting in way. Fortunately I live 5 block from Golden's Mountaineering museum. I bet they have a copy but I want to put one in MY library.
Any help where to find this would be great.
Otherwise if not call this a La Escoba de Dios video appreciation thread.
P.S. I also lost my copy of Alex Lowe, Greg Child, Mark Synnott, Brad Jarett's ascent of a route in Baffin Island.
Thanks

Oops. Forgot the appreciation.
Yes, to the classic expedition meltdown WTF calls out. Made all the better when juxtaposed with various laid back patter from Charlie Fowler.

It is great to see this gem rising from the ashes . . . classic Charlie and Max.

"because WE'RE TRYING TO F*#KING MOVE!"
"well you're not doing a very good job of it."
"F*#K YOU MAX! F*#K YOU AND THE HORSE YOU RODE IN ON!"

Thanks Dave!!!! Some how the PM didn't make it to my email account. I think that's where it should show up. Oh well good intentions. Maybe I'll put in my other email account in the hopes another PM comes my way.
Yes the melt down is hilarious! And Charlie's comment is perfect! I bet the rest must still laugh about that exchange! :-). My buddy and I also say "Holy Moly!" if we encounter random pockets on gear climbs as Charlie said early in the climb.
Cheers!!!

One of the very best climbing films ever made.
But I think the full quote is "F*#k you, and the f*#king horse you f*#king rode in on."

Skywalker,
I'll just repeat the PM here (really no need to be private). I'll be in Golden at various times between Feb 7 and 9 and would be happy to arrange to meet to get the VHS to you. Let me know if that works. I do need to get it transferred to DVD before, but that shouldn't be a problem.
Dave
P.S. the cover photo of Charlie in his Wild Things one-piece suit is another classic of the era. Probably should have kept mine.
