I wish!

Love Honduras and rafted the Congrejal on my honeymoon.

Now that I'm finishing my MS in aquatic ecology the Rio Platano would be really cool to explore.

Have fun and please share when you get back! (even if there's no climbing)

Limpingcrab- Let me know if you have any aquatics you are curious about. I am a Mussel guy (family Unionidae) but love to learn about everything.

Is H real? I have been trying to contact him, not sure if he is just messing with me.

Did you get it straightened out? I don't know him, but a number of people here on the taco do. I believe he was in charge of yellowpines campground during the facelift. A number of people have had issues with the email program on the taco.

H- Is the real deal. We conversed on logistics but it didn't work out this time. I am the one that set the tight time frame. H- tried his best to fit this into his schedule.

I will keep you all posted once we get back! I hope I don't rub the wrong shoulders, considering it is an expedition/ rafting not climbing trip.

Take care all, Hugh

Just hoping to spread some info of our world!

rSin- We are reaching an area outside of news sources. Our Guide is a Miskitio Indian.

Honduras has many problems, and is not that safe.

But Rsin, why are you against trying to save the Rio Platano? (translates to scaring folks away)

Just curious.

I think time is up. We have assembled a crew of three, with four others very serious. (Jorge is working these folks)

I look forward to posting some pictures.

Thanks H for your consideration

Rsin-

I hope someday you smile and enjoy life. Even if it is just one day. Take care.
I have rescinded my offer for you to join the trip.

post a trip report when you get back. We all have climbing in common, but lots of us also love all kinds of adventures, and this one sounds cool.

Rsin-

Please try and be half smart. Our Guide is a Moskitia Indian. This trip is trying to get rangers to patrol the territory/ Rio Platano Biopreserve.

I am sorry you are upset by that.

Rsin- That was a very deep response. I hope you stay safe and are not to upset over issues I am not aware of

Wow! Not sure what that was about.

I am happy to talk about Honduras, and floating rivers! Or anything wildlife and fisheries related.

Keep talking q ball! I'll probably not make it to Honduras so I enjoy hearing about the trips of others.

Does anyone have any critters you want me to keep an eye out for?

Let me know or I will keep my head in the water looking at aquatics.

I am leaving soon but can bone up on the info of your target species. I love biology!

edit- If I was given the opportunity, ex. I would request what freshwater snails are there? exc...

Just hoping to fill an itch for those that can't make it.

Q-Ball,

welcome back, but "Hell of a trip" does not a TR make (although I like the photo of you with the strap-on jungle powerbars)

rsin is history, so don't be afraid to expound, both verbally and graphically.

to start, where did you go?
