I wanted to start a thread where we could post up photos and stories of where Billy's Ashes ended up here's mine.
I go to this place often and when I do I always leave, spare change, weed, and a piece of my heart. I got the feeling that Yabo was happy to hang with Billy again. DF

Nice, I thought about starting a similar thread: "Billie's Big Adventure" or some such title. Just been busy with the holidays.
No pics, but so far we've taken him out to Malibu Creek, Echo Cliffs and Saddle Peak. The tin of his ashes sits in the sun on the window sill next to our Easter Island Elvis-head since it sort of reminds me of the Batso sculptures.

I've got a million of these, he's been to the top of Balch camp flake, Indian creek. The Moab rim, the sf bay and many more. At the moment he and I are en route from Grug's house in boulder to the armbar ranch, wolf city Wyoming! Currently just south of Gillette, Wyo!

Blitzo's been in my climbing pack the entire time. He has his own zippered section. Still in the enclosure. He's just always there.
He's been with me on every Joshua Tree outing this year. Every area, every climb. Not ready to let his ashes go yet. Being with me at all times in JT, he's seen some amazing sunsets and amazing creatures and been there when great fun climbing had been done.
I feel a comfort knowing he's there with me...and always in spirit...enjoying JT.

Never got to meet Billy, but anyone that can empower so many people after his death to keep up his memory, you know that that person was a good and worthy person. and what a photographer. Safe travels wherever you are sir..
