Anyone know any of the bands from the soundtrack from the Masters of Stone films? One of my very favorite scenes and songs ever is Rick Lovelace on a speed solo of the Zodiac from MoSIII. Really wish I knew what band that was...

All listed in the end credits, yeah some good soundtrack for sure. Actually I think at the start of each segment the song/artist may be listed in the bottom corner a la MTV in a few of the MOS movies.

The links posted above don't work anymore... trying to find the song that plays while Dan Osman climbs in MoS2 - starting at 38:20. Anyone got any beta on it? It's driving me nuts!

A couple years ago I spent half an hour scouring the internet for some way to buy the music during Dan Osman's Eagle Falls solo. It was like it had disappeared.
I frequently get the Rastaman song from one of the Ron Kauk segments stuck in my head while leading.

This is the same song I have been searching far and wide for.. I've tried lyrics on Google search & Soundhound & searched for each band listed in the end credits of MOS2. Couldn't find much on any of those obscure early 90's bands..
Also, all of the Masters of Stone have been removed from YouTube. This happend right around the release of Free Solo with Alex Honnold. I suspect there is a correlation.
If anyone has info on songs or artists used in these films, please help!

The “gathering” was a band that Michael Paul and Shawn Curtis were in or involved with. Michael Paul still posts here on the Taco, and Shawn is now dead.
Perhaps the Hatchett bros (mike and dave) made some of the music also? They are probably still around the Tahoe area.
