I watched a bighorn sheep send 5.9 in Red Rocks. I even think she was off route a little.

Here are some goats on the side of a dam in Switzerland licking salt.
And somewhere I have a shot of a feral goat running down Dixie Crystals(5.9+) at Stone Mountain, NC. He( she? ) was being chased by a dog, who stopped at about Easy 5.9.

My ex girlfriend's dog chased some goats across a slab at J tree onto a tiny little dike, where the dog, and goats speed climbed in good form.I looked up the climb later and determined it to be "X Rated tits" 5.9.The forward momentum is what prevents the critters from launching .Its amazing that they can stick to granite with just hoofs and claws.

The goats at Stone mt. NC seemed to know when you were cruxing WAY out from the last bolt and would take the opportunity to run right up to you and snort. They could climb 5.10 all day! Sadly they're gone now.
In a shoebox somewhere, I have an old photo of one of those goats, or at least what was left of its remains, on the Tree Ledge. So yes, they do fall sometimes.

I recall seeing that goat chimney video when a youngster, or one showing goats doing the same outrageous descent.
Aren't we glad that's not part of the descent route from the Captain, eh?
"Descend the East Ledges Chimney in the goat-carom mode, (Third Class)..."
but that's silly, it can be rapped quickly and safely and there's pigs, too.
Yoemite SAR goats: The good old St. Bernard would be out-classed automatically and could stay out behind Werner's in with the mules.
I would volunteer to tend the herd in exchange for a place to live, which isn't really volunteering, just a possible ploy to get to live there.
Goats are versatile friends of man, like dogs and unlike cats (who are good mousers, but good for little else besides kissing up).

I hate to be the party pooper but the Ibex video is not real. I wish it was real but it isn't.
To the question 'Do they fall?'. Yes they do. I've found their remains at the base of cliffs and in an avalanche path. Surprisingly many of these falls are not accidental. Mt Goats can be pretty aggressive with each other. I have some fighting photos on my hard drive, I'll try to load them tonight.
Here is one of a goat that fell and survived with both horns broken.

I like to think of them as my 'Alpine Angels', but they don't always act very angelic.

No idea what this would rank on YDS (5.5?) but still pretty darn crazy to see a herd of goats doing it.
