Bet you miss the early, cold mornings gathered together with friends and H's wonderful, endless mugs of hot (great) coffee as much as I do.

What are you planning/doing now?

Khanom, last night I stuffed the ginormous zucchini you and Vicki gave me. I topped it with cheese and my family consumed it all.

Went on a road trip to Calistoga and Inverness to write a bit.

Then on back to the Eastern Sierra and Carson Pass.

Cheers All and Miss You Mucho!

The usual post-Facelift depression.

But a great day out with Cosmic and Maidy on Sunday!

Cosmic is an awesome human. Maybe we can all get together again like we did at Lake Perris last year. Know you and Skip played an important part as Camp Hosts for FL at the Pines.....but we sure missed you both at Yeller Pine.

I am enjoying my nightly sleep with baby. I really like this sleeping trick that I couldn't do at FaceLift.
I am also busy getting quotes on remodeling a house. It's fun, busy, headache time. I can't wait for it to get done and just move in. I will like that part the best.

LL, you should visit in a few months. I will have plenty of room!

Good advice rSin :)

Ana, I will. I am making some new life choices this year and hope to have the guts and (rSin) sauce (never too much :) ) to stick by them.

Meanwhile this is some of the rest of post Facelift beauty.....

Well, we got our one day with Cosmic and now I'm in full blown production mode for Christmas. Only took 2 days for me to come down with my yearly upper respiratory infection. Meh. At least I had an awesome summer.

Got some new designs though

Skip that is fantastic! Glad you got to climb with Cosmic and hope to see you again at the fair.

Lynne it was great to see you in my neck of the woods. We had a great day of climbing on St. Helena. I am sorry you couldn't make it.

Been working a lot and trying to keep the chaos to a minimum.

Keeping on....post FL trip to J-Tree, didn't happen, so we subbed in Lovers Leap and Tahoe. Bike riding a lot for the next few weeks before we head over to Oakdale climbers festival, (see you there?). From there down to Moab and Zion for a month. That should set us up for ski season in Bozeman and Kirkwood ( and places in between).
My son is in Germany so I head there late Nov early Dec hopefully to get some skiing in.
Retired ain't half bad. Unfortunately nowadays I have more time than money.
And, this year I will make it to see Skip's work at the Dicken's Festival. I so covet that piece,

Look in' forward to seeing you in Oakdale, Lynnie....maybe we can actually sit down and have a chat!

Lucky Pink, went thru Petaluma and thought of you. I hope to be back to visit, that is if you'll have me. I'd love to go to Ernies and the Traverna.

JTM, You are one talented Lass!! Thanks for the share. How can Tacoheads purchase your art?

H, so fun to have dinner with you. Sorry we couldn't climb. So wanted to but must get this project done so we can go on with our lives. Made excellent progress in a very quiet, zen place.

Susan, lets have breakfast or dinner together with Ferret and catch up. Smiles to you both along with hugs.

Gomez, Heading home tomorrow. Hopefully weather holds. Love to have dinner with you and Kelly. I can also help you with the Blitzo preparation. Peace and Joy, lynnie

I have been climbing up and down and up and down and up and...

All over the temporary structures my crew has assembled in the park in front of the State building and Billy Graham Theatre in down town San Fran.
It's a 'Dew Tour' engagement. I'll be here through the strike on the 17th.

Oh wait I did climb on some plastic instead of all that steel night before last at some place called the 'Cliff House' ?

Sorry about your URI, Skip.

Me, well, check out The Flames if you must know.

but I certainly have not been restin', to put it gently.

How much does a Heming weigh, anyway?

The perfect spot to quaff and spluff.

Lynne,

Those were some beautiful photos of Tomalas Bay--especially the egret. Looks like your roadtrip has been good for you. That fabulous shot of you with the glass of wine made me smile.

When did you become LL LL?

Super glad to see you back here L. Everyone (at least 99.999%) here has missed your wit, humor, beauty and creative writing. My personal favorite is your "cake" story.

I became LL LL when I screwed up my computer and then could not figure out how to get my real name back. When life calms down I will petition the board to reinstate the real Lynne.

You would love this place right on Tomales Bay and very Zen.

Hope to see you at JTree on 11/9. Cheers!

One final post ..... I'm home again. Arrived @ 6 p.m.. Last time I slept in my very own comfy bed was May 21. Longest road trip/job away from home I've ever done. It was more than awesome, along with character building challenges. Never be able to duplicate the last 5 months of my life.

Last few pics I took on my way home today from the Tahoe/Gardnerville south down 395. Hope and pray we get a lot more of this, this winter.

More amazing photos, Lynne! Those snow-covered mountains and plains sing to my heart...and I'm not really a fan of snow! ;-) You have a good eye for sure.

Gumby Dammit!--fabulous sunset! 7 hours on Nutcracker had me thinking you had to be bored outta your gourd...but how could anyone be bored with a light show like that?

New Lesson for Lynnie. Sometimes it's good to be wrong. If I hadn't been wrong you would not have posted the most awesome Louie Armstrong bit I just listened to. What a fabulous way to bring the day to a close. THANKS!

My favorite was the Free Hugs. I am applying for this job tomorrow. Everyone needs a minimum of 12 hugs a day to be happy and healthy (this has been proven scientifically) and hugs are one of my favorite things.

Cheers and a wonderful evening to you social and all you Tacoides.

PS, I emailed ST to reclaim my old avatar, but no word yet. Any help would be appreciated.

Practicing my harps. Aspire to play as well as the Cosmic mon.

Life after Face Lift....

1) Better at harps
2) Learning the Uke (Thanks Andy and Mitch) It's going :)
3) Two weeks to Oakdale
4) Figuring out, yet again, a newer life, moving on.
5) Paring down life to the essentials which include most importantly an early
morning meeting with my best friend...then on to exercise and writing,
then the daily chores.
6) Choosing to try and exist financially by doing what I love.

Smiles,
