Max and I are bivying at the top of P11 of the AO Wall right now. I have an A4 pitch for breakfast tomorrow but then the aid eases back at bit We are 4.5 pitches from joining Iron Hawk.
This route is great although not as difficult as the topo shows. Cam have really tamed it. Still though, we have both nailed some expanding cracks and climbed some heads up pitches!

not trying to be a dick....but since you are so opposed to no heads you had better explain?

Re Tami's post:

Send, send, send.

I can't believe this internet shzt. Posting from a wall. For real.

Best wishes to Mark for a great & safe time-------and, like Tami, I do remember when folks were not able to call or text from big wall adventures.

Sigh.

Send Mark!

I'm in Hood River right now, and stopped by your coffee place. Your wife was really nice, and I am now stocked back up on delicious Hood River coffee!

"Heads up"as in the common usage of "using your head". Besides, I never said heads were bad when used where they are appropriate.

The monkeys are sending!

Had a cup of your coffee today! Thanks for sending it back with son John who helped you and Max get some loads to the base.

Have fun, stay as safe as can be.

You wallhangers will be the only public left in the park in a few days.

Enjoy the unique time.. No pizza after though.

Mark is getting stranded and cutoff everywhere he goes it seems.

Good thing he's where he belongs right now :)

be careful,
if the park has to close then El Cap will close up all the cracks and there won't be any gear placements.

can't hike down while the park is closed, so
best to stay put on the wall until we have a functioning government,
i hope you brought a lot of coffee.

How awesome will it be tomorrow!!!

No traffic. All quiet. Probably more quiet than the golden age of Yosemite.

No trash trucks rumbling or beeping.

No green dragons.

Cool, have a blast mang!

Hope to see some youtube videos too. I haven't heard a lot about this route and am curious about it, hopefully Tom will focus in on the crux.
