The eaglecam is interesting.
It seems to be a new wrinkle in falconry.
Here's another, a little more dramatic:

Gopro's are stupid.
Just kidding, i got a gopro. Now I want a falcon! It could make cooler vids than me all day.
Don't know if my dog would like it.
what an awesome vid, birds are just incredible.

I've always admired this slow mo vid of an owl coming in for a landing. Pure poetry in motion.

I doubt the eagle-GoPro combo is for real. GoPros are too heavy. Especially since it seems to be mounted on top of the eagle ( did you ever see an eagle carrying its prey on its back? )
It looks to me like someone rigged their drone with a fake eagle head.
Now an 808 camera, that would certainly be light enough for eagle work. If it was a real eagle, my guess is they used an 808. That's probably what was used on the falcon/duck video.

Edge, that owl video is so awesome. The slow motion makes the bird look bigger, too.

Must have been an eagle shaped drone because you can see the eagle shaped shadow near the end.
I have no doubt the video is authentic. What brand of camera was used is unimportant to me. But after personally watching a golden eagle lift a baby mountain goat off a ledge in Glacier NP, I believe a trained eagle could carry a Go Pro.

I don't believe that a radio transmitter placed on an eagle(for tracking), is any lighter than a GoPro.
