It just seems to get harder the older we get.
This is something which everyone learns.
But for today,
Cheers and beers, old wander-boy, you bet!

Randisi, about the book.
It is being shown in trial bound book form to a few of Doug's publishing world friends at the moment. The front and back covers are done, the layout is done, the text is done save perhaps for a few changes that might still occur from feedback coming from those pros who are reading it currently. It will be available at the Facelift and Doug has a spot on the auditorium schedule as well just for the purpose of discussing the book and his recent thinking. He is also readying for the Christmas market, it's the best book selling period one can get for a new volume.

Thanks everyone (rather belatedly...)!
johntp is right, I've slipped the habit of being on the Taco all the time. The good news is I'm no longer a slave to this compulsion. The bad news, I miss you!
I was in Denver on my birthday, helping my daughter Kyra move into her dorm to start Culinary school at Johnson & Wales University. So cool for her, and of course for proud Papa.
Yes, The Alchemy of Action is coming out for Facelift! And I'll get to talk to you about it Thursday evening the 26th. It's been hijacking an awful lot of my attention recent years, though gladly. I'm excited about it. And I'll get a thread rolling soon so we can discuss it. I'd love to hear your feedback.
Anyway, thank you all for remembering me.
Cheers!
Doug

Thanks for dropping in Doug. I understand your absence, but if you winnow out the chaff there is a lot of good stuff being posted and a lot good people here. Hell, even the bird has posted up a few times.
Don't be a stranger...
