Huaraz is a really easy place to travel and there's a fair bit of information out there (particularly on the wiki travel page), but here's a climber-focused guide to food, accommodations, and logistics in the city. I probably wouldn't have written this if it hadn't rained so much in Squamish last week... anyway, let me know if there's anything I can add.
