Besides being a Californian, how'd you get on the Seattle Shitlist?

I only exceed the speed limit on highways where it's safe enough and then never more than 9 miles over the posted limit

Ho, man, 9 over? You call yerself a Californicator? If I tell Uncle Stirling
that he might die laughing. The second day that Mt St Helens blew we were
coming back from City of the Rocks and I picked up two speedos in a couple of hours.

"Damn, officer, we're just trying to get home alive!"

Stay alert and slow down when you see the man.

this is really bad advise.

I have had the best results by staying 2 to 3 over the limit. Seems it's not enough to pull you over but it perhaps shows that you aren't worried about them either.

For some reason I'm reminded of a line from Breaking Bad from a few years ago.

Jesse: "You don't need a criminal lawyer.....you need a Criminal.....lawyer!"

I think Double Jeopardy is an accurate description of your misfortune...being tried twice for the same crime....?

Cops are more suspicious of people driving to slow than they are of people driving five to ten miles over the speed limit.

there are just too many cops these days, thats all.

Neal Cassidy use to steal cars when he was all boozed up, and then drive down mountain passes at 90 mph, never got caught,

well, a few times, maybe,

you can buy a real police badge at the pawn shop, don't know how they get them,
just keep one in the glove box,

best one is a CHP badge because they are good in the whole state,

just tell the man, "yeah, ain't too many body parts i haven't picked up" and he will send you on your merry way,

Agree 10b4me,

I got pulled over doing 40 in a 50 zone. Cop told me that is one of the first things they look for in regards to drunk drivers, going too slow.

I was doing it to save gas as I was almost out and I had been drinking, had an open container but he was apparently hypnotized by the climbing gear in the bed of my truck.

Lol at your comment about the BS life occasionally throws at ya. Never quite thought of it that way. Morbid a bit but I suppose there's a silver lining in everything.

I have had the best results by staying 2 to 3 over the limit.
I have a fishin buddy that is a CHP occifer, he told me that most CHP will give ya 5 mph over the limit (highway) if conditions are good.

In Shasta, a neighbor (whom I was giving a ride) kept hounding me to drive faster . . . said you can go 9 over in CA.

?

So. . . the next time I saw a CHP parked in town, I walked up and asked.

He said:

"Five, you're alive.

Seven may be heaven.

Nine, you're mine!"

He then added,

"If we've got PC we can stop you for ONE over."

Then I asked,

"If you've got PC I could be standin' still, eh?"

He nodded and was impressed that I knew what PC meant!
