I thought you were the classy one?

The reason nobody respects your posts on the political threads is that you don't provide any facts. You don't really even make any arguments.

All of your posts are about Obama. Every post is just a bunch of hyperbolic cliches. Always negative. All directed toward a president that is doing the same stuff that other presidents, from both parties, have done for decades.

Seriously, what's your hangup with Obama?

Other politicians, many Republicans, support the same policies as Obama, but you never mention them. It's always about Obama.

You don't provide any rational explanation as to why you clearly hate the guy.

But you keep spewing the hate.

And you still haven't told us who you voted for.

It's easy to be an armchair quarterback.

There were only 2 choices
Obama or Mitt

Tell us what Mitt would have done that would have helped America?
What things would have he done that would have been so much better?

or STFU about Obama

The SYSTEM is broken. You cannot fix such a sham working within the parameters of a failed system. You cannot "vote the bums out".

This isn't about individual puppets. Bush/Mitt/'Bama... All worthless puppets that did what they were told to do. The machine spoonfeeds us different puppet skins to give the illusion there is a choice.

Does anyone who has been paying attention these past few years really think that "voting" is even real anymore? The tables are all rigged, and now everyone knows it.

Wrong!

Did you even bother to listen to the proposals that the Republicans offered.
They were 180 degrees opposed to what the Democrats have done, and have supported.
Mitt said he would bomb Iran on day one.

Has Obama bombed Iran?
Has Obama gotten rid of SS, or Medicare?
How many jobs has Obama shipped to China?
How much money does Obama have secretly banked in the Caiman Islands?
Has Obama made abortion illegal, and restricted birth control?
Has Obama said that Corporations are People?

Has Obama increased the deficit by trillions per year like Mitt proposed?

If you voted for Mitt, you voted for these things.

I think we should march in with a Team of the UN, Russia and China and just take all the Chemical weapons away from Assad.

If Saddam Hussein shipped all his WMDs to Syria, he still didn't have any WMDs, so Bush's war was based on lies no matter what you say.

and what about the Mushroom cloud??
are you saying that now Assad has Iraq's Nuclear weapons?

I believe this is a much bigger game going on than just Syria.

Dean said:
If Obama would not have weakened our country, Syria would NEVER have even considered using chemical weapons, knowing the consequences. Obama thought he could 'act' tough, throwing out his "Red Line" challenge, and Syria called his bluff. Now Obama has to try and look like a leader and a man of his word, something he is clearly not. This is what happens when a populace of sheep elect someone who promises them things he cannot deliver on, because he is clueless. Again...we will ALL suffer the consequences of Barack Obama being inflicted on us.

Respectfully Dean, the country is suffering from 8 years of Bush nearly destroying us. What was the cost of his ineptitude Dean? 6 Trillion bucks in the hole over stupid wars? I don't care who the President is, that's a lot of overhang to swim upstream past. I have not particular love over the President, this one may be getting pushed into a corner, partially from his own words, partially form Israel and the 1914 style alliances going on, partially from the US Government machine that is much much too large, but it could have been worse: Bush and Cheney might have been in charge.

Hang on for the ride and hope for the best. Regards to all.

These nutbags wanted Clinton to invade Iraq.
But no, we had to wait for the Supreme Court to install Bush as our dictator to get the ball rolling.

It's truly scary
PNAC
In its "Preface", in highlighted boxes, Rebuilding America's Defenses states that it aims to:

ESTABLISH FOUR CORE MISSIONS for the U.S. military:
defend the American homeland;
fight and decisively win multiple, simultaneous major theater wars;
perform the “constabulary” duties associated with shaping the security environment in critical regions;
transform U.S. forces to exploit the “revolution in military affairs”;

and that

To carry out these core missions, we need to provide sufficient force and budgetary allocations. In particular, the United States must:
MAINTAIN NUCLEAR STRATEGIC SUPERIORITY, basing the U.S. deterrent upon a global, nuclear net assessment that weighs the full range of current and emerging threats, not merely the U.S.-Russia balance.
RESTORE THE PERSONNEL STRENGTH of today’s force to roughly the levels anticipated in the “Base Force” outlined by the Bush Administration, an increase in active-duty strength from 1.4 million to 1.6 million.
REPOSITION U.S. FORCES to respond to 21st century strategic realities by shifting permanently based forces to Southeast Europe and Southeast Asia, and by changing naval deployment patterns to reflect growing U.S. strategic concerns in East Asia. (iv)

It specifies the following goals:

MODERNIZE CURRENT U.S. FORCES SELECTIVELY, proceeding with the F-22 program while increasing purchases of lift, electronic support and other aircraft; expanding submarine and surface combatant fleets; purchasing Comanche helicopters and medium-weight ground vehicles for the Army, and the V-22 Osprey “tilt-rotor” aircraft for the Marine Corps.
CANCEL “ROADBLOCK” PROGRAMS such as the Joint Strike Fighter, CVX aircraft carrier,[17] and Crusader howitzer system that would absorb exorbitant amounts of Pentagon funding while providing limited improvements to current capabilities. Savings from these canceled programs should be used to spur the process of military transformation.
DEVELOP AND DEPLOY GLOBAL MISSILE DEFENSES to defend the American homeland and American allies, and to provide a secure basis for U.S. power projection around the world.[18]
CONTROL THE NEW “INTERNATIONAL COMMONS” OF SPACE AND “CYBERSPACE”, and pave the way for the creation of a new military service – U.S. Space Forces – with the mission of space control.
EXPLOIT THE “REVOLUTION IN MILITARY AFFAIRS” to insure the long-term superiority of U.S. conventional forces. Establish a two-stage transformation process which
• maximizes the value of current weapons systems through the application of advanced technologies, and,
• produces more profound improvements in military capabilities, encourages competition between single services and joint-service experimentation efforts.
INCREASE DEFENSE SPENDING gradually to a minimum level of 3.5 to 3.8 percent of gross domestic product, adding $15 billion to $20 billion to total defense spending annually. (v)

I think it's a cyclical thing. Time to clean out the garbage if we live long enough.

Intelligent/productive people want to create and produce new things. They don't generally want to play popularity games and spend hours debating things like which bid will get the sewer repair job. Unfortunately I've been involved a lot in local politics the past few years as things have sped downhill. Most of the legislative process is intensely boring. So when times are generally good, you have marginals filling the roles of most politicians.

Then there is the bulk of humanity in the lazy sub-marginals. Once the marginal leaders figure out they can steal from the producers and win support from the subs, the clock starts ticking.

Our clock is just about at midnight. Got some rope? Plenty of trees around here. Politics is about to take a whole new direction.

I suppose ill repeat this for the 100th time at least.

No i did not vote for GW a 2nd term. No i wasnt for the Iraq invasion. And no i didnt want to see the idjet from AZ (Mcshame) anywhere near politics. Those are all ASSumptions made by those that only see DEM/REPUB. I am neither.

But if your looking for irony, consider this to the Iraq war and its amazingly similar. So much so you could say team b copied team a..

If WE the USA are so friggin concerned over morality in the world, then why do we not bomb the snot out of: Africa, The former USSR, N Korea who just expanded their death camp. How abut the five hundred other atrocities world wide that garner NO news?

No we are now concerned over Syrians fighting other Syrians,, so to help we will bomb Syrians. We will damage Assads side so that a ruthless cold blooded gang of islamist extremists can cut the hearts out of other Syrians to EAT. And thats the side we support. ANYONE want those islam idget SYrians as NEIGHBORS?

And why cant barry even remember what he said a year ago. WE ALL watched that "red line" speech. HE SAID that,, NOT the "world" as n he now claims.
THe WORLD ISNT backing him here, just a few scattered and largely ineffectual countrys is his "support".. But to listen to dementia barry, youd think the World is pounding in the door asking for bombs.

And the ARABS offering to pay for the whole thing if we kill assad is hillarious. Since when is our military just a bunch of MERCS for hire?
