Who should the average American be for in that Civil war?

Which side are you enlisting with?

Im enlisting with COMMON sense Wade.

Kinda like dealing with two fighting rattle snakes, no matter which one you save, the other is gonna bite you.. Why go there. Some mythical magical
little limited strike isnt going to dethrone, nor solve , nor do anything other than more dead of many sides.

92% of our conflicts since WW11 have more than proven this.

When two rattlesnakes are fighting, what do you think of the person saying, "I need to join in here. It's in my best interest?"

Also, per Russian involvement "there on the ground in Syria."

In what manner are Russians "there" (a few military advisers, etc??),and what is the source of your intel?

Interesting analogy. This is not our fight.

There are (or were) several hundred Russian advisers in Syria in training and maintenance capacities. Russia has sold millions of higher tech aircraft and missile systems to Assad Like most of his neighbors he doesn't have the home grown technical capability to maintain the stuff.

We have the same kind of relationship with the gulf states except that most all of the technicians are civilian contractors and not military personnel. An airstrike on Assad's air defense system is gonna kill Russian soldiers as well, not some civilian contractors that could be dismissed as mercenaries.

Russia evacuated several hundred people just a week or two ago.

Then there's the naval base at Tartus. This is the last foreign major military presence the Russians have and presumably a big deal for them.

Then why those lying jackasses Oblunder and those two major stupid lying stooges Kerry and McCain saying it is so?

All these despicable sold out lying treasonous leaders.

Just like 911 again same lies and lying media blitzes.

Even the American intelligence agencies are not lying this time

U.S. intelligence officials are not so certain that the suspected chemical attack was carried out on Assad’s.

Yet the jackass Kerry keeps saying it's "undeniable"

Putin is right -- "Americans are stupid" You hear that Kerry McCain Obama?

Of course they hear but don't care.

They need to further that agenda of that pipeline thru the Mideast at any cost.

Everything else is collateral damage .....

While this whole episode has shown Obama to be at worst a complicit supporter of the Muslim Brotherhood and at best an incompetent naif, it's also revealed that McLame is batshit crazy.

It's a bit surreal to see John Kerry beating the drum for war after his history, and disappointing to see Obama struggling to justify a supposedly limited attack which has an unknown and hardly limited number of possible outcomes.

I hate to say it, but I'm with Sarah Palin on this one - "Let Allah sort it out."

America needs to fix The US instead of trying to fix The ME.

Russian military advisers are manning some of Syria's more sophisticated air defences – something that would complicate any future US-led intervention, the Guardian has learned.

The advisers have been deployed with new surface-to-air systems and upgrades of old systems, which Moscow has supplied to the Assad regime since the Syrian revolution broke out 21 months ago.
The depth and complexity of Syria's anti-aircraft defences mean that any direct western campaign, in support of a no-fly zone or in the form of punitive air strikes against the leadership, would be costly, protracted and risky. The possibility of Russian military casualties in such a campaign could have unpredictable geopolitical consequences.

We STILL dont know squat about Benghazi where we had people, but can come to the right conclusion somewhere where we dont ,,so quickly? Really?

Which means Russians are manning the air defense systems and know how to and will use them. Those arent just "sideline" advisers. Those are Air defense troops that operate those . AKA boots on the ground as it were. And you can bet theres more we dont know diddly about.

Locker, to me it has made ZERO sense for Assad to use gas from the start. He is in control and has Russians and China backing him. I dont think THEY would want Assad using gas either. I think it was done by others, just by the facts presented. From The UK to Russia To The USA and then some.

If gas was used , finding out who may prove all but impossible. The launch crew is probably already dead.

This whole deal stinks to high heaven and if its a choice of christians and a dictator or the radical elements of islam obummer has tried to place into power , then ill think Assad is better of the two evils as well.
Obama and congress WORK FOR YOU AND ME Locker! But they now want to bak the brotherhood again, after failed attempt after failed attempt in the ME. They have done a shytty job of representing the USA there. An embarrassment for many administrations now. We cut their cord. We need to fix us. That IS the problem. You cant fix any one when your broken down.

I remember another war starting with promises on not sending troops thousands of miles from home. That was a lie. I remember hearing WMDs were in Iraq, that was a lie. I remember hearing mission accomplished in Afghanistan, thats a lie. I remember hearing the new govt of Egypt was a great thing, that was a lie. So on and so forth. You gonna believe them now??

Edit: and the BIGGEST lie so far by our politically correct, dementia ladened admin is this "moral high ground" they stand upon.

We are the MASTER GASSERS of the planet. We were using it in WW1, WW11, Korea, Nam and advocated its use in Iran and a few others. How convenient they suffer memory loss now eh?

If you hired a resoler helper, and his first five delammed in one use, would you a, keep using him, or b, find someone else.??

We need some actual fresh blood in washington. All these fools blow !!!!!!!!!!
