Yeah, I've been hitting it hard and really going for it this season. Flying paragliders over the Sierra crest really is something special, I'm always surprised that there aren't more pilots out here doing this!
As far as the flight went- I launched from Walt's Point, which is a few miles south of Lone Pine, on the way up to the Horseshoe Meadows trailhead. I flew north to almost Mammoth Lakes before leaving the Sierra, then headed north towards Mono Lake, right over Bald Mountain. I passed just to te east of Mono Lake, flew right over Bodie, then made it almost all the way north to Yerington, NV.
