My knee has been garbage for the last couple of years, but I haven't dislocated it in months now! Feeling strong regarding the knee and flabby regarding the rest!

Anyone want to get out and climb something?

I'm a competent leader and belayer, I've been doing this for twenty years.

Lets go climbing!

Brandon, where in NH are you based? Obviously it you are up north you'll be wanting to get to Conway or the Notches (or Rumney). But if you are in the southern part of the state, especially the southwest, come on down over the border into Mass and join us at Farley or Rose or one of our other crags---all good places to get back on the rock--that is if it ever dries out. I'm based out of Warner, exit 9 on I-89.

I've got no issues with traveling to the crag, though.

Brandon, glad to hear that the injury is improving and you're ready to throw down, but sad that I missed the opportunity to climb with you in NH.

Good luck getting after it!

Thanks, Loran! It's a bummer that we never got the chance to tie in together. We share the same interests, or so it would seem.

Bumping for potential partners.

Pretty sure I'm going to tie in with a fellow ST'er this weekend or early next week.

So cool, I'm really stoked to do this again, and I'll be on the sharp end! Trial by fire!

Yeah, it'll be something easy, but it's going to be rad no matter what!

I'm still looking for partners though.

The bigger my group of climbing partners, the better.

I'm really nice in person, and know what I'm doing.

I think about the 'Dacks all the time. What's it called? Chapel Pond? I've driven through the area, but never climbed there. I know there's tons of good climbing there. Tell you what, I'll show you mine if you show me yours.

Nice to hear about you knee. Dislocations of any joint suck. I have been thwarted for the past month climbing in NH for two reasons; 1: either hot like the center of the sun....2: one of the wettest July's on record.

Brandon,

Email me if you want to get out. I'm 40 miles south of Cathedral Ledge,

living in Wolfeboro. I was in the Valley 1 month ago, and climbed the RNWF of Half Dome, with my son. Haven't touched rock since--the weather has sucked-as you know.

I'm heading to Wyoming in a month and need to get back on the rock.

Best, Steve

Looks like things might still be wet on Sunday, but Monday looks nasty hot down here. NH is looking pretty good from here either day... :D

Brandon, are you equipped with any kind of brace for your knee? Is it your right or your left?

I've been using a brace bought in a drug store which has one flat plastic stay sewn into a sleeve on either side of the joint. It is elastic and about eight-ten inches long. It gives me the help I need to weight that leg when moving up or sideways.

The bottom line is that it works for me. I wear it over the knee which had ACL in 1979; and since it works well, I'm looking to get a neoprene sleeve for the other one, which is now going out slowly.

I've used those when I played a lot of racquetball way back when, and they gave me the ability to think about the game, not the pain. It may be of use to you to check into these.

I'm stoked to hear that you and Audrey may get to share a rope, dude!

Prepare to be amazed.
