Guido,
I got these screen junkies eatin outta my hand. 21 hits on this little thread......it'll probably be in the hundreds by the time you wake up tomorrow morning. It's just an appetizer for what's to come. This thing is gonna be bigger than Harry Potter part 9.
I'm actually thinking of putting the first paragraph in this thread just to whip yall into a frenzy.
A good Trip Report is 90% PR these days anyway. it takes marketing savvy to stay ahead of Vitaliy, Pellucid Wombat and Hudon these days. I'm all about staying in the 70-90 comments range at a bare minimum with my TR's. It takes work to stay ahead of the scoundrels.
Here's a photo to get folks salivatin.....

Scrambled up to the ledge at the base of a popular Squamish route one day with another grizzled old guy and found a party already roped up. Young woman on belay, young man on the sharp end.
He was all muscular and wearing a tank top, and when he saw us old guys he started doing a bunch of "stretching" to get ready. Except what he was really doing was flexing his muscles so that everyone present would see how much burlier and manlier than us he was.
But his partner was no fool. She just stared him down and then said: "Stop posing, and send."
Good advice, and applicable here.
Your TRs are great, so stop posing and send!

Follow WML's lead and use music in your TR.
The thread title made me think of this song, maybe there's a place for it in the TR, maybe not.

BTW, your TR's are some of the best out there!

This is starting to look like the airplane crash thread. All BS and no product.

I'm Nervous. Nervousness/worrying = fear "Fear not for I am with you always, saith the Lord."
The words just aren't there yet. "I can do all things, through Christ Jesus who strengthens me."
But I find myself a bit timid at the wheel. "For the Spirit God gave us doesn't make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline."

Yo Luckyneck. I got yer back. Just gave props on that sick photo of yours. I realized Briham89 is in the shot too.
This weekend should gimme some good time to hunker down and write. I'm thinking of putting each new paragraph into its own thread, and starting new threads every few minutes so that I take up the entire front page as a TR marketing bomb to Supertopo.

...take up the entire front page as a TR marketing bomb for Supertopo. Good idea. Get all the God haters off the front page. Seems like every other day a new thread pops up and all the God haters simply shift from one of dr.f's threads to the new one. The vast majority of the posters on those threads rarely post on any other thread. They have an agenda...to hate, they thrive on it, its their primary focus and motivation. The same dozen or more have been occupying such threads since I started to post here six years ago, and i lurked here for 2-3 years before that. They have no goal other than hate, and they haven't changed one iota. They wreak hate. Smother the front page with climbing oriented threads. Get them douch-bag haters where they belong, somewhere else, there are plenty of militant atheist threads elsewhere on the internet.
Thread after thread directed at so called right-wing causes, but it's the X'ians that they hate. They weave it into their hate filled spew, as if we'er the initiater's of whatever they are hating. In my opinion CMac and the sites Moderater's are as guilty as anyone, they allow them tto thrive. I could start dozens of counter threads, even more over the years, but the handful (3-4) threads that I have started, were climbing topics.
So, Kudos, carry on...
edit: Bro, ya got a gift of lightheartedness and humor, and are a crafty wordsmith to boot, so roll with it.

This would be amazing. Correct me if im wrong but I think there is a limit to the # of TRs that can be on the front page at one time for some, stupid reason.
