The creative juices are flowing. The story is a good one. But I find myself a bit timid at the wheel. The words just aren't there yet. I'm ready to tell my tale but I'm having trouble pulling the trigger. The adventure was pure. The end a nail biter. I just need the time and the vibe to bring it all together. Here are some of the elements of the story:

First El Cap Attempt
A year of Wall Prep and Training
New Friends
Amazing Photography
Old Friends
Supertopoian Encounters
Bears
Dehydration
Fear
Success
Mark Hudon
Failure
Injury
Pending surgery
Post wall depression
Re-kindled stoke that a million armies could never suppress

So come on Supertopo...help me out...I need inspiration to get this thing done. Stay on me....I want to give the masses what the masses want. A Trip Report that will go down in history. I want to be rich and famous and garner the adoration of hundreds of strangers on the internet who hang out in the day arguing over politics instead of climbing. This will be my opus. I believe it is time to sing. Help me find my tune. I will not let you down.

Until then,

MNut Out.

What! No mullets?

Your TRs are a joy. I hope you soon find your Muse. We need your brand of amusement.

Stop being a layabout nancyboy and start pounding them keys, these things don't write themselves you know. Fat doob will cure the nerves.

Hop to. Chop chop. Get to crackin'. Order up.

Ha! You guys are awesome. So much wisdom in these replies. Thanks Dingus. I'll do exactly that tonight. And Sully, so sorry to hear of your loss...your stoke is contagious and your words of affirmation much appreciated. I'll send you my address and look forward to the book. Time to pony up and dip my pen into the inkwell. I have a literary itch to scratch. My 11th grade lit teacher will be proud of what I'm about to create.

Dingus nailed it.

sort your images, pick the first one, write the words above that picture, continue to the next one. Relax and let the images and your memories decide upon the words, real time. Don't even try to frame the story, just TELL IT.

Cornerstone of all my posts.

You got this buddy. Can't wait.

Looks like you already have an outline; just fill it in.

And don't forget the classic "so there I was".....

We know you can do awesome reports!

Keep the humour and keep humble-----and post photos of humans in scenery, not scenery.

But this thread is good, too. Like a movie trailer.

The only thing that's missing is a release date...

Usually what I want to write has already occurred to me during the experience, I just need to go back there and re watch the film.
