Ron gets right down to the basic argument.

If you're gay, you're born that way. It's not your choice, you're wired to like dudes (or chicks if you're a woman).

I'm straight, but this intolerance I see every day bothers me as much as racism.

Nigger and faggot are common words where I live, and I despise hearing them.

Intolerance makes me angry, and it takes a lot for me to be angry.

Blue by you. Do you believe that God created gay folks ("fags")? Or are they totally mistaken about who they are?

God created man and woman. They both both chose to abandom Him.

O.k., I can live with that. The Bible is wrong. Fags have everything figured out.

Seems like Evolution would say its wrong also. Afterall they are taking a pledge not to procreate.

And what about Nature? Homosexual sex certainly is not natural.
Why havnt we ever seen animals having homosexual sex?
Seems like most if not all male animals become "aroused" from the scent of
a "dripping hole" and must be concluded by "connecting the dots". In my 50
yrs of walking around, I've witnessed quite a few spieces of animals "having sex"
And I've NEVER seen a male animal stick his penis into another animals'
"pooh hole". Have you?, and what about female animals, how would that work? I quess monkeys could do it since they know how to use sticks for tools?

That doesn't bother me, I like seeing people being happy and in love.

What's wrong with love?

Should people who are infertile be denied marriage?

Edit;

And I've NEVER seen a male animal stick his penis into another animals'
"pooh hole".

My dogs have proven your claim invalid.

Donkey Dick yup that was me:

If I remember correctly I posted that in reaction to the "usual bible thumping extreme right wing juvenile" stance on yet another topic. You all can dish it out but you cant take it.

It was meant as joke and if it was taken any other way by anyone you might try to relax. Then think about taking the pole outa that uptight mean spirited ugly bigoted ass hole of yours. Ow weight secretly you like a finger in the taint don't you ;)

You all are worthy of nothing more than the hate you exude. By the amount of teeth MOOSE has left and thick aged skin that only hard hard life of struggle can create ow yeah and where beer drinking falls on his list of priorities I would say life has not been all that kind to him and rightfully so. Most of you right wingers that preach intolerance and hate seem to fit this bill well. Kinda a kawinkydink don't ya think.

You get what you give in this life fact, hate breed hate, anger breeds anger. You are a miserable bunch of sad sacks.

I disagree with it, but think it should be legal. Like early-term abortion.

Just do not tell me I have to accept it as something 'normal'.

Just accept it.

I'll say it again, love is love. It needs no restrictions or boundaries.

This is true, unless and until someone makes a conscious decision to break the chain.

So the long and the short of it is that at a fundamental level, most if not all gay detractors are in total denial that so-called God-created, natural born gay folks are real or even exist.

:I don't believe that I am in denial. I just believe that reincarnation exists. So does Karma. I don't believe God created people to be Homosexual. Because of reincarnation, most people with Homosexual desires experience this from a young age, and thus believe that they were created that way. I believe differently.

There you have it. The entire anti-gay argument in a nutshell. They are not actually arguing against gays. They're saying in no ucertain terms that they don't actually exist in nature, but only in the person's head.

That, ladies and gentlemen, is denial of biblical proportions.

Its not denial. I see clearly that many homosexuals feel that they were born that way. In one respect, they were. But not as a source of the Creator, but as a source of choices and experiences from previous lifetimes. The problem is that we don't clearly remember our previous lifetimes. This is in part due to the karmic buildup on this planet.

Where ELSE could it be from John, other than the "Mind"?

There are the "senses" then higher is the "mind" still higher is the "Intelligence" and still higher is the "soul".

Where John is coming from requires one to have experience with all of the above .....

What I am saying is that I believe in a Creator. I also believe that the Creator did not create us to be homosexual. Choices and experiences have led people down that path. And then over lifetimes it becomes an ingrained experience which causes one to feel that they were born that way. This is due to the inability of most to remember their previous lifetimes.

Edit: The scriptural teachings on reincarnation were done away with in the Christian religion in the 4th century.

Happy Canada Day!

Here gay marriage ( and divorce ! ) is legal. I teach loads of kids from 2-mum families and have had the pleasure of teaching the sons of a 2-dad family ( much more rare )

They're just families. Just like man/woman + kid families. No better; no worse. Full stop.

Bang on, Tami! They're just people, like all of us on this thread.
