I'd just rack up for my route in the Fall, the AO Wall, with Max Jones.

I haven't yet piled in the biners and cams and slings and easy stuff just yet, I might need that stuff for free climbing this summer.

You need a pounder mark.

And

40 hawks.

I haven't used it yet but I'm hoping it'll give me lots of leverage to rip heads out with.

I just bought a bench grinder and have been playing around with different shapes and ideas. I'm getting ready to sell Butter knives. I'll sell a large and small for $20, not including shipping.

Ha! Thanks.

I have a trip up the Son of Heart with Skot Richards planned for after the AO and am already planning my routes for June and October of 2014!

Yeah, my boss understands.
We are going to finish the anchor repair that I started on my Iron Hawk solo. One whole anchor, right at the intersection of the two routes, is coming out and the next few are going to get remodeled. I think I'll let Jones drill them though, I want to be in good shape for my rematch with the runout 5.9 pitch!

My cam hooks were lost somewhere, I need to get a new set.

I'd go that way usually, Lambone but given this climbs expanding flakes, I think I'll go with the recommended rack in this case.
The ST rack suggestions certainly don't skimp on gear though. I find that I don't use at least a quarter of it

That's a long way from "long, hard and free."

But I understand.

I know, I have to get back to free climbing, I'm starting to miss it. I need a good solid six weeks in the Valley though, there is not enough good quality trad climbing available up here and close by in Oregon.

Hey Mark, I just bought the Metolius torque nut tool and I would think it could maybe replace your 3 wrenches... The torque works perfect with fixe hangers but I still have to test with the petzl hangers (they leave less room...). One could also chop the biner part of the torque to let it go where the regular torque would not... I will experiment and let you know.

Man you keep the psyche alive !
