I picked up my girl yesterday, and drove her home.

She'll be close by, always, in the sunny garden where she loved to lay and warm her belly.

I love you, Maddie.

And more friends to meet beautiful Maddie....She'll be takin' to the beach with my girl. I love the plaster paw print. Wish I had one of those.

I'm coming up on three years in July. It still breaks my heart.

Losing a pet is never an easy thing. I too have an elderly dog at home who is nearing the end of her run, she's going to be 18 in October if she makes it that long. I got all weepy eyed just looking at all those wonderful canine companions & hearing their owners stories of love & loss.

Hang in there & remember the good times you shared with your buddy. Maddy will be with my beloved Jake soon, who passed away suddenly last year. I still get sad over his loss over a year ago.

Pat - I remember Walter as being a great dog. Sorry to hear of his passing but I am glad to hear that Nicky is still around. Be well.
