This is tough stuff....these darn animals become family, and teach us all what unconditional love is all about.

Apogee has gone the extra mile with his Maddie, who has battled cancer issues bravely. Today, Maddie's new journey begins.

Wishing Apogee all the peace and comfort that can come from knowing Maddie lived a long, good life....and was loved.....

I am so sorry about your loss.

I don't think there's any harder decision than the one you had to make.

All of us animal lovers have been there, but it doesn't take out the sting.

I am facing the same thing with my aging animals. I try to enjoy each day with them.

I am so sad for you.

Thinking of you. It's so heart breaking to do.

Sniff can show Maddie some very cool fields of clover to chase rabbits through.

My sincere condolences Apogee.

When my big dog Walter died suddenly a couple of years ago I was grief stricken beyond anything I had previously experienced.

Now Walter's life long pal Nicky is in her sunset years and doesn't have much longer I fear
