Completed a 4 day 9000' climb from the Amazon basin back up to high Andes plains. Rained hard every fing day. Steep dirt road with constant switchbacks, swollen creek crossings and big trucks. Fun was had by all. :)

Made it to Ecuador. Maybe some photos to follow. One nice downhill run yesterday, from 10000 feet down to 4000, 30 kilometers. no need to touch brakes nor peddle for the entire 40 minutes. Man, 100 lb bikes with fatty tires sure do the downhill well. Sweet. Of course in Colombia down hill is ALWAYS followed by a big climb. Back up at 9000´now. lol
No FARC to be seen in all of Colombia, nor paramilitaries. ha
Cragman. Your back channel is turned off. Not sure on my timing, but I should be getting to Quito in 3 or 4 days. If you want to give me detailed directions I´d love to stop by.
