Note: This is the second posting of this. I had to take care of a minor issue regarding the sales of these but we are good to go now. Have received payment for 7 so far and sent them out today.

I have for sale 50+ beautiful 19x25, heavy stock posters, signed by Layton Kor and Ed Webster. Ed took the photo of Layton in 1987 on the FA of The Gothic Pillar, V 5.10 A3, in the Black Canyon, CO. Special thanks to Ed Webster for providing these posters to Layton.

Price is $100 ea plus $5 shipping per order. Every bit of the $100 goes to Karen Kor. Mail check or money order(preferably money order) to:

Jody Langford
P.O. Box 953
Templeton, CA 93465

Let's sell these quick so I can send Karen a big check. Please keep this thread bumped.

Was wondering what happened to the original thread. Received mine today. Great, quality poster and a great cause. Thanks Jody.

John, had to take care of a couple of details and make sure all parties involved were on board with what I was doing. Basically a courtesy thing. I stopped actively advertising until I had that taken care of.

I think this is moving slowly because a lot of us already gave on the other site set up by Steph Davis. Your posters will only get more valuable with time however.

Jan, I thought about that and realize that to be the case. However, the orders are trickling in and being able to help Karen and Arlan a little extra is pretty cool.

Are you going to arrange to have some available for sale during the Diamond get-together in Boulder in June?

Excellent idea. I will make sure there are some there. :)

Payment received for 8 so far. Would like to get payment for 10 and then send karen a $1000 check for the first installment. That would be cool.

Just thinking out loud here; it is a ways out but depending on the inventory at the time, Facelift might be a good time / place to raise additional contributions either via sale or auction.

Also see if Neptune's would front them?

Thanks for this effort to help the Kors.

Just FYI, I talked to the guys at Neptune and they said Arlan and Karen wouldn't need tix if they show up (I've bought 6 already). Hopefully they can make it, but I haven't heard back from Arlan about it.

I would like a poster.

Do you have a PayPal account setup I could use to pay with?

albatross, great photo. He was sure excited about searching out lines on those towers near his home. I am glad he actually got to climb a few before he passed away. He spoke fondly of those climbs.

Rec'd payment for tenth one so as soon as the check clears a $1000 check going out to Karen. Thank you!

Hopefully others can keep this thread bumped as I can't really stay on top of it.

Alpinist magazine was kind enough to post an "ad" on their Facebook page for me so hopefully I'll get some inquiries from that. Sales are slower than expected but I realize that the climbing world has been inundated with fundraisers lately. I also realize that the cost of $100 is kind of steep but I came to that price after talking to people close to Layton. With the limited number of the posters containinbg both Ed Webster's and Layton Kor's signatures available, they are worth every penny. Maybe some who have received theirs will post up how nice they are.

Anyway, thanks for those who have parted with their hard-earned cash to help the Kors.
