A lengend passes on, but his legacy will be with us forever. Layton, thank you for your immeasurable contribution to climbing, and the potential of the human spirit. Peace forever.

For some time my friends and I had admired a picture by Charlie Roskosz (I think from the Ament's blue High Over Boulder) of Layton Kor on the Ruper traverse. When I stood there I was not solid at the grade and I was certain I would fall on the next couple of moves. I cleared my head, planned what I wanted to do and climbed it. There after I was solid at the grade and looking at routes of the next grade. Thank you Layton Kor.

Just a minor thing, but that's not the Bulge, but pretty far
to the left. It looks as though Jim and Kevin might have
done Black Walk or the route to the right (Dessert?), and
are now moving up and off. The Bulge is way right of this.

I just spoke to Arlan and told him the fund is at $7K.

He really appreciates the community's support.

Currently he just is stressing for a finance final exam.

Midnight shift bump for something with which you can't go wrong if you can contribute. Every bit (even if seemingly small) helps a real family and honors one of the greats.

Peace,
