Anyone remember my husband Ian "Charlie" Gill (ZM, Cancer and the End of a Dream)? Here he is with my mother at the Boston Marathon.

I don't know why I asked "Anyone remember...." Of course I know you all do. Sometimes my worst fear is that he will be forgotten.

Sometimes my worst fear is that he will be forgotten.

Never.

Sadly, even as the list grows, no one will be forgotten.

Michelle I will never forget Ian. I promise you that. I still remember when he reported the swollen leg. I knew what that meant and was so devastated.

Your husband's story has been a real factor in my getting back to what I loved in my younger years. His posts on this climbing site touched my life in a very real and positive way.

Wow, thanks for sharing that article. His spirit lives on, for certain. I like to think that when we connect with others, we take on a little bit of each other. Ian sure passed on and brought out a lot of the positive. Carry on!
