Better yet grind my sorry ass up and melt me in with a few cases of BLUE BUTT PLUGS and give one to ALL the major players here...

Then pick a day for everyone to get together and mourn my passing by jamming the fukers in their intended targets...

I like to dole out gravity to situations that require it.

This situation is all levity.

Fun stuff locker :) condolences when you go too!

Rick, thanks for that. I know Locker is just trying to be funny...presumably the idea that we are ALL going to die sometime, and so why not a bit of light gallows humor, after all? But for my part, having been through this in a very visible and visceral way, I can say that everything I read here in ST (and my family and Jack's) were SOOO appreciative and uplifted by everything we read, whether old stories, simple "I'm sorry", and emails and offers to help. In moments when I need a boost, I go back to those posts, and find great comfort in them.
cheers,
Pam

Unless you are a cat, then those that "have and will die" are two mutually exclusive sets. So you're covering a lot of ground there. But some (specifcally cats) are being left in limbo for about nine lifetimes.

However in fairness, you have to take a look at how many cats have or will have read before they reach life number nine or more correctly death nine, then you have to look at how many that have or will have read, will or have read the ST forum.

It's a hard problem.

Sorry to hear about your TV - zBrown

This is OT, I know, but it got me to thinking. Which set is Evil Knieval in?

On the TV issue, have tried MTV?

EDIT: There is of course the semantic interpretation that "all ... and .." implies a conjunctive in which case you have the null set.

I want my MTV.

Righto Evel and apologies to all the Evel persons in the world and their Knievel associates. But as to Knoffel, is it awful or aweful? Probably isn't Knoffel either. Righto again, it is Knofel.

Whether Evel was evil is a philosophical question best addressed by the Cat in The Hat

In any event he is or was a good looking man.

An American icon to be sure. One of my heroes, thence my ST handle.

Always promoted honor and sobriety to his fans, though he may not have been. Sober.

"Gallows humor" a great term to describe how people deal with stuff they can't deal with.

Agree with Ricky. We need to respect and honor all the people here on ST who have lost loved ones. It's a damn hard road they are on and they need all the love and support we can offer them.

Those of you out there that have lost someone you love....well, your life will never be the same. But you have the gift of life and each day you wake up you can praise the day and honor the person you loved.

They would want you to live your life to the fullest. Peace, lynnie
