My "collection" is thin on his gear. Do you have any items for sale or at least interested in discussing the possibility of selling?

Thank you

Er...didn't know he was for sale. Did the owners of the Hollywood Forever Cemetery go bust?

Are YOUR roots for sale?

Couldn't resist. I tried. I really did. ;D

I have a lot of early Dolt gear that I am willing to trade - I want to add to my collection. It is all silver - not colored. Some not marked with Dolt logo or with year produced. Let me know what you have. Maybe we can make a deal. Bob (Hallets1995) bobkatz111@gmail.com

Dolt Pulley, clearly stamped Dolt, otherwise not much to look at. What's the value?

There were 2 Dolt Pulleys? Jesus. Mine is small (that's what she said too - insert sad face here). You got a photo of the big Dolt pulley you can post up? Only asking cause I'm too lazy to dig around to find and pull out my tiny one to get a snapshot.

The only Dolt gear I have left is my Doltster, which I will hang onto until it or I bite the dust.

I have a larger DOLT pulley (same size sheave but full coverage sides?). I got it from my British friend Keith who was climbing walls in the late 70s in Yosemite. What's it worth now?

How about this Gem:

I have never seen one of these before. A good bud just gave it to me from a $40 bolt kit he purchased, which had some great relics including this puppy.

I'm not sure if it was real or not but I've never heard back from a person with a hoard of Dolt .
I've asked the hier to make contact, that went no-where too.
It seems that the owner did not do anything with any of it yet....?
I'll resend an e-mail to see if I get a response.
If I do get word I'll get to you the all of you with extra coin for such
Cross your fingers .
All I want for this is to see the hier get hers and some for the Muppet!
A nut or pin for a gnome? Might not be to much to aske ?
Check my picture file, . .,. . .they are in range%%%
You have seen my software right? A big Rope bag back pack and a utility zippered pocket.
some where I have a picture of the utility pocket.

Yup, I was aware of some of that history . . .
Yes sir, all the Dolt soft goods are post the poet, as I understand, with the exception of the bolt kit bag just shown. I read that discussion in the Dolt thread or somewhere.

If I'm not mistaken, that "Dolt" rope bag was manufactured after his death by Tom Limp's company. Tom bought the rights to the Dolt name from me after my business bought Dolt's entire business estate after his death. The "Dolt" label on the bag confirms it was not of Feuerer's making.

Here is part of my collection of historic gear. Sorry, not for sale.
Top row 2 Dolt hexes. Middle, keyhole hanger and 9 Dolt nuts.

Is the forged nut seen above the Pat Nay belay device a Dolt stopper?

A couple other cool items are the Layton Kor ring angle and the Royal Robbins rurp.

Meaning that my post have landed with a thud.- all my posting from the

Every Christmas, and at other times when I am so moved, I send DOLT's daughter and granddaughter, Audrey (LilaBiene here on the Taco) and Camilla ("The Muppet") some of my DOLT collection. Everyone who knows them and their story would agree that there are no more deserving and appreciative people who should receive the fruits of DOLT's labors than these two.

Gnome: Your close up pic of the two small pitons show a type I never owned. Since you have 2 of them, I suggest you give at least one of them to these two wonderful people. Many here, especially me, would hold you in the highest esteem if you made such a generous choice.

dee ee: The DOLT bolt hanger, hanging near the center of your display would be very much treasured by DOLT's daughter and granddaughter. Would you consider giving it to them?

Generosity has no price.

I saw that horde of gear show up on Mnt Prj. -
it amazed me that I was the only one to respond.
I started up a correspondence. During which I tried not to tip the owners off as to any value.
I passed the pictures and info along to Audrey too.
She, if I remember correctly, asked only for pictures.

I have no ability to collect, and have One Long Dolt pin,(Picture Enhanced by Big Mike)
its origins and meaning to me, run very deep! it was given to me as my nut pick when I followed the Grandfathers of Rock Climbing, in the Gunks.

Boodawg, Roots!
My sincere prayers to both of you! Thank you gentlemen it restores my faith in climbers.
I've tried to chase down that horde I posted, with out any luck.
If there is anything that you need from me; the email addy, or the very thin back & forth,
please just say so.
