Well you would have to go back to 1632 Jebus. We did have one real radical- General Jethro Sumner who fought with Washington during the French Indian War and the Revolutionary war. Just about died at Valley Forge.

One thing is for sure though-there should be calls for real comprehensive immigration review and reform from top to bottom.
and just on the other page there was a call to table and cool down all the "rushed" immigration talk
lets see, it has been 25 years now after Reagan gave amnesty to 15 million illegals
isn't 25 years ENOUGH god damn time to cool down the rush and "give it more thought"?
careful, something just might maybe get done, wouldn't want that to happen

We also had a number of scoundrels in the family tree. Some of them would have been better rounded up and deported to Alaska or some other far flung locale. Humor aside, a few weeks of debate about our whole immigration policy wouldn't hurt a thing-that is nothing compared to the 25 years we have put it off.

Can not tell you how relieved we are...we can go outside again. What an incredibly strange feeling.
Hey, Brandon, please don't forget to pass along our heartfelt thanks to your friends and family for protecting and keeping us safe.

So regardless of our individual political/ideological beliefs I think we can all agree that the victims are the tragedy - especially those who lost limbs. I've been to Cambodia and seen the carnage caused by landmines. I also doubt that most of the peeps who are now amputees are rich with incredible health insurance.
Why don't we, as a site/community/campfire, start a fund for the guys and gals who lost limbs. Didn't Russ just do something like this recently for Blitzo or someone? Sh#t I'd happily join in with even evil rap bolters on this!
What sez everyone????
Let's help out!

Rick and i are probably related...
you guys need the Incest App before you get too serious
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/04/18/accidental-incest-app-iceland_n_3114065.html
You meet someone, there's chemistry, and then come the introductory questions: What's your name? Come here often? Are you my cousin?
In Iceland, a country with a population of 320,000 where most everyone is distantly related, inadvertently kissing cousins is a real risk.
A new smartphone app is on hand to help Icelanders avoid accidental incest. The app lets users "bump" phones, and emits a warning alarm if they are closely related. "Bump the app before you bump in bed," says the catchy slogan.
Some are hailing it as a welcome solution to a very Icelandic form of social embarrassment.
"Everyone has heard the story of going to a family event and running into a girl you hooked up with some time ago," said Einar Magnusson, a graphic designer in Iceland's capital, Reykjavik.
"It's not a good feeling when you realize that girl is a second cousin. People may think it's funny, but (the app) is a necessity."
