looks like it was a Saudi National
Sh*t. Now we're gonna have to invade Iraq again.
Sorry. Probably not appropriate to cracking jokes right now. Sometimes trying to have a sense of humor is the way to deal...
I have a sister who owns a business near there, and a brother who works downtown too. Likely they went over to watch the race finish, I hope they went back to work after the winners came through.
My thoughts are with the victims and best wishes to the injured and families involved.

That is no surprise. The Post is a rag. Of course there are many such rags.
Time to wait and see...

Prayers for all those killed or injured today, as well as their loved ones, friends and families.
Prayers also for responders and all those involved in the investigative process. Hope we get the real truth from all involved including the news media.
Also, Prayers for the souls owned by darkness.

I'm happy to say that my co-workers and friends who were there are all ok. Apparently our booth was not far from where the explosions were. Good thoughts out to the people hurt or killed and their families.

Roupen Bastajian, a 35-year-old state trooper from Smithfield, R.I., had just finished the race when they put the heat blanket wrap on him and he heard the first blast.
"I started running toward the blast. And there were people all over the floor," he said. "We started grabbing tourniquets and started tying legs. A lot of people amputated. ... At least 25 to 30 people have at least one leg missing, or an ankle missing, or two legs missing."
Bad. Prayers for all.

I started running toward the blast...
What kind of courage does it take to run toward the blast? What kind of instinct?
Anyone trained in bombings is trained to understand that second blasts are used to kill responders rushing to the scene. And yet this (apparently off-duty) state trooper did just that.
Are basketball players heroes, or are the real heroes everyday joes like this guy?

I would never have clicked on the pictures. My imagination runs crazy in plain everyday life. But W.Braun clicked for me. My heart is torn into 50 million pieces, for that man and the others injured or killed. Oh God......
But my heart is even more torn for the heart of darkness that perpetrated this. There is good on this planet and there is evil ....everyday each person makes a choice in both little and big ways.

I don't know, after my one and only marathon, I could not really walk after the finish line, could not even stand. Not saying I don't believe it, just stood out as a little odd that someone who had just ran a marathon was in any condition to do much.
Fortunately there aren't that many people who seem to think blowing up random people is a good idea; unfortunately there are a few.
