The only 3 rules at Woodfest are; There is no Woodfest, what happens at Woodfest stays at Woodfest and Obviously clean up your wood after the Fest.
Hope to be able to make it.
I'll bring beer and a pig donation.

I just went up to the area Dan suggested for the party. I think it is the best place to have it with the largest areal for camping etc. It may be a little bit I a bitch to get my trailer up there but I will make it happen. The area is directly across from old bridge that is on the north side of 88. Big flat area that cannot be seen from the highway. Road up to the area is not that bad.
Ron, I'm assuming we would need I get a "fire permit" or they could shut us down? Figured you would know about this.
So I say its a go for this spot.

Shawn I was just out with Dan and Leah and it sounds like cloudburst parking area would be best so we're stumbling distance from cragging. check with D.

Thanks Kenny. Ill check with Dan. Thought the other spot was better for camping etc. not sure where I would set up the party palace and pig cooker at cloudburst. Agree it would be better for climbing access.

Bump for the fest.
There is a possibility that the better half and I may make the trip up there - it kind of depends on if I dash to the Valley for the Donini NIAD or not. I won't have the $ to make two long trips in a month.
If we come up, we will probably grab a room in Garbageville very late Friday night and meet up with y'all on Saturday. I haven't been in the Woodfords area since I was a teenager, and never as a climber. Should be interesting.

Come on up "Vegas" Thanks Dan, I will plan on it there. Ill talk with you later about where to set stuff up. Im trying to get my shift covered on Friday so I can set up and start cooking around Midnight (Slow cooking man!!!!)
Should be fun. Maybe print out a few teazers from the guide?

I'd rather donate some hardwood from our stash than see the area get stripped of ecologically important deadwood. Kind of unseasoned, but it burns.
Don't forget your eye protections if you follow Ron's suggestion and start pounding on mahogany with a sledge!
