Hatum they stink! Recruited some bodies for the fest. A couple from Alaska ... friends of Mark aka Mr. Big. Chris and Amy. Crushers, hope Woodfords meets their standards. The creek is relentless...back to Moab to resupply. After thinking about it, Woodfords is super badass! Looking forward to coming home.Dan

Kinda thinking about taking the 24th off...it's about an 8 hour drive and I'm not keen on doing that Friday night and having to drive back Sunday afternoon. Still haven't heard anything from Jim about his NIAD so it's getting more likely that we will be at Woodfest instead.

Is there any 5.6-5.7 stuff up there?

Vegas,
You You'll find some 5.7-5.8ish stuff out there, but most routes are rated by Chim Chim and are usually 1/2 a grade harder than what "normal" people would rate them (Dan is a really good climber, so 5.7-5.9 comes pretty easy for him!). I've gotten used to an 5.9 being called "A STOUT 5.9". I'm sure there's quite a few routes you'll be happy with...

Never once in person have I heard him discuss politics and I stay away from the politard threads, as you all should, so who knows?

Looking forward to meeting y'all!!

Don't mind at all, villains are fine as long as ya don't kill me, it would upset the missus lol.

Looking more likely that we will be there - putting in for the extra day tomorrow. Will give me a chance to show the better half where I used to live in Yerington.

Thanks man. That was my first route I ever put up. I spent so many days hanging and cleaning on that and halcion hallucination I thought I never would get done. Probably could qualify for black lung disease too. Was thinking about heading up Tuesday but weather is looking a little shitty. How's your schedule?

Dan, I wasn't referring to you as a "sandbagger". Just stating the fact that you are a much better climber than I am. So when you say "it's 5.9", I am mentally preparing for 10a+...
