Hey Plaid,

You end up going to Smith last weekend? Sorry I couldn't make it. Thanks for the invite though! Good job on the fitness track. I'm doing the same thing right now. Moving to Colorado beginning of June and want to be in top Alpine Shape. Living in Florida right now doesn't give me many opportunities for elevation.

Was suppose to climb at Laurel Knob NC this weekend, but got rained out again...Now its just lots of squats and time on the erg (rowing machine) so I can handle the approaches!

Have a good one!

Hey guys, not even close to 80 pounds. more like 201 right now. At 5 foot 7 inches that still makes me fairly round

Sorry we didn't get to climb together Wade.

Hey, I lost 70lbs in 18 months recently by totally changing my diet and excercising moderately. You can do it!

@Mark - Goal weight 176 for the first phase. then
Then I plan on getting down to 165. Not sure I can go lower. I will have to when I get there. My old personal trainer said I could get to 155. Sure would be wild. Taking it all in stride. First goal 1st.

There will also be a blue/green hybrid
There is also supposed to one smaller than blue Totem.

Down 20 pounds this morning. 196. Shooting for 176. It is coming off and in the meantime I am working out like a fiend. Getting stronger. Feeling a whole lot better with eating right. No junk.

Went to a new area and gave the new bod' a test run. Super fun. Flying up overhanging routes and dynoing to holds on faith. It's sure is easier climbing lighter.

Sure am looking forward to Facelift and the month of Oct. I'll get that route on El Cap and maybe the Steck Salathe too. Maybe a NIAD run. And a route on Half Dome. Then there is Crest Jewel. Oh to be in THE VALLEY! Super Stoked!

GO Plaid you can do it!!!

I can back from a shoulder injury and lots of drinking last summer at 192 lbs. I changed my diet and started working out more and dropped 30 pounds from september to feb. Now I stay steady about 164. Oh yeah I'm 5'10"

DO IT!!!

Thanks Mark! Thanks Matt! I am doing it and it ain't that hard. Some days harder than others. With the goal in mind and having this as a life style change makes it easier.

And being able to send and not struggle is AWESOME! I can't wait to shed another 20 pounds.

2 pounds a week is good progress and I am willing to be patient.
