Looks like something I might purchase. I was just wondering...how many different SoCal guides are out there now, if you include ALL guides ever published over th decades and not just "best of" and "sport climbs of" and "anthology" guides? Must be hundreds. It's also super fun to see all those oldschool routes slooooowly but suuuuurly get upgraded, over and over and over...*w00t w00t* Climbing is like life, always eveloving.

I'm cool with that.

It's a minor thing, but I hate seeing the High Desert route listed as Carousel. When we originally toproped it we called it Desert Carnival. When it was first led by Josh Fairchilds, after placing some lousy split rawls he didn't change the name. Troy Mayr got the name wrong in his guide and the name stuck. But it's still wrong, and still irks me.

That's life Reed.. how do you think us Brits feel about the way you guys spell Aluminium?!

I bought the NorCal guide, psyched to see its sister has appeared!

Isn't the pinnacle on the back Lowenbrau Pinnacle? Looks awesome - lots of cool areas in there. So Cal is stacked with rock...

Slater, not sure I know you, but it really doesn't matter. What matters is the journey and the goal achieved by yo. Eight years, wow! I'm about 3 into a book. Dang, it takes persistence. What with work and life and all, I give you a big cheer, mon, for getting it done. Hip Hip Hurray for You!!!

OBTW, make sure Nomad Ventures knows about your guide. Would be great to carry it in our store (s). :D lynnie

Again, Congrats on your accomplishment!

Is that The Bong on the back cover? Tyler Logan took me up there once. Cool place and fun routes.
