Gymkhana is amazing, and Ken Block is one of the best in the world at this sport. Check it out.

I took the thread title to mean something totally different.

Super impressive driving, though. I've always enjoyed those videos.

An oldie but goodie - many of the tire marks are still visible almost 9 months after this was uploaded to YouTube.

Definitely watch in full screen with quality setting at 720p or higher. Here's the direct link so you can select full-screen:

Jesus, those streets they blocked off, including the Bay bridge... it's hard to fathom.

When was this Hardman?

The bridge was closed for major retrofitting at some point in 2012. Could have filmed the bridge scene then.

I posted this video to the video thread last year.

(From looking at the making of vid, the bridge closed very briefly to film that scene. They just stopped the cars for a few minutes.)

I saw random skid marks all over the city a couple months before I heard of the video
(I just checked and it was indeed filmed from the 9th to the 12th of May 2012).

Here's a video on the filming of the action, including some bloopers:

In a land where understeer is the antichrist: keeping all four wheels in line will never be same.
Bullitt eat your heart out!

I wonder if Ken block wants more than 650 horsepower (but of course, he does).

Dingus: I didn't take close notice, but that might be his e-brake on steroids for throwing some of those slides?

Yes!! Hell yes!! What did u guys think of the matrix style gopro shots? Kind if a cool idea, just line up bunch of em. Love it when he jumps off the dock and you see the gopro go flying too..

I wonder how many gopro's they used?? Must have been close to a hundred.. Each matrix shot is at least 15 ...

Just watched the making of vid. Somehow i was under the impression that he did it all in one go. That would have been a hell of a production, much less an incredible run, to pull all those stunts together at once and shut down half the city!!

Still super impressive, just seems a lot more realistic now..

I thought they were down on air pollution in San Fran?

And I've got a couple C notes that says he wouldn't stand a chance against
any of the top European rally drivers. But it was mildly entertaining.

I dunno Reilly, he got 7th in The 2013 Rally Guanajuato México, first one he entered this season. He's ranked 13th in the WRC at the moment, but he's currently ineligible for manufacturer points.

I saw the original Ken Block Gymkhana video a few years ago, and he outdoes himself on this one. However, I think I still prefer Gymkhana 3 - Ultimate Playground, as it has much more of an "open road" type feel, and the audio (and sound-editing) is superb. You really get a feel for what a beast this car is, and there's more footage shot from the car. Knott to mention that the outrageous ending is pretty hard to top!

Here's the blurb from YouTube:
Uploaded on Sep 14, 2010
Shot just south of Paris, France in Linas at l'Autodrome de Linas --Montlhéry, this 1.58 mile oval track, built in 1924, features banks as steep as 51 degrees, which is more than double the standard incline of most NASCAR ovals. Chosen by Ken for this specific reason, the ramp-like banking proved to be a unique and exciting challenge. The driving physics for the stunts performed were totally unknown until Ken attempted the maneuvers during filming

Here's the link. I'm knott embedding it because there's no way to go full screen, and that would be a crime.
Again, go at least 720p, full screen, and crank up the volume!
