Ed: Exactly the image I have had wired into my mind for many years. I haven't seen it in at least a decade. Thanks for finding that!

Just got a wake-up e-mail.

Between the four of us, in 6 days, we are handling 1000 reservation changes.

Wow, just wow.

Erik, I am laughing. That is one reason I passed it off to Sharon. It is a lot of work. Thank you Sharon. Tee shirts arrived today and they are really nice. Thank you Simon. Kate came down today and organized everything. Ed has been working on AV stuff. Thank you Ed and Kate. I just got back from town with final supplies. There are so many that make it happen. Too many to thank from a phone. My computer augured in today. Always some challenges. I think we are in good shape as the early crew arrives tomorrow. I will be cleaning the East Auditorium tomorrow if anyone wants to help. Thank you all and see you soon. Looking forward to number 10. Wow! Ken

I can only get up there for next Friday through Sunday, but I'm really looking forward to reconnecting with the ST folks I met last year - and looking forward to meeting some new ones!

It's great to have the special projects list posted in advance! I greatly enjoyed doing trail work last year. Want to do that again this year...if my back holds out...

Best laid plans.....headed up to Tuolumne for a few days of camping and climbing before Facelift. And oh yeah....nice snow....
It really was lovely but once again foiled my plans to climb Cathedral for the 3rd time since July.
I woke up to a bunch of these outside our tent this morning....either my snoring or Mike's smell saved us from being ravaged by a Yosemite bear!

It was lovely this morning....but melting fast so we came down to Bishop

We ended up uber prepared having just been at Mammoth Mountaineering the day before and taking advantage of their winter sale...here's my morning face all bundled up in a brand new HUGE puffy jacket sitting inside our "screen house" which held up surprisingly well during the overnight storm. I had expected to crawl out of our tent and find it collapsed on the picnic table.

See ya all Tuesday in the Valley

Wow, Susan, that's amazing weather. I checked weather.com today (not always the most accurate) and it was 32 in the valley at 8 am! You look cozy!

Ken, is that Jesse's mobile? I may be interested in one of those projects. Will be helpful to know if I can text him. Thanks for posting that! Helpful!

We are now observing partial broadcast silence as the usual suspects (and some new ones) make their way to their respective staging areas...

Stay tuned...

Does anyone have a bicycle I could borrow while at Facelift? Someone who maybe lives there , or near there, and has a spare? Thanks ...

Bummer, got to Mo's and realized I forgot the lanterns???? I have one old white gas one and three propane tanks with stands! So if anyone out there has a propane lantern, we could use a couple.

Thanks Ken for posting the service projects. I love the gathering and the partying but it good to have a reminder that we are here to clean up the park too.

Looking forward to seeing everyone.
